Sub-second cycle detection and digital production tallies direct from machine pulse signals.
The Problem
Manual counting is slow and unreliable. Operators write numbers on paper, supervisors re-type them later, and the figures rarely match stock. Targets are missed without anyone knowing when it happened.
The Sensor
A photoelectric or proximity sensor is mounted where the part, stroke or cycle passes. Each pulse is counted at the node and sent to the gateway, so a missed count from network loss is avoided. It suits presses, headers, threading and rolling machines, conveyors and packing lines.
The Dashboard Result
- Live count against the work order target
- Output per hour, per shift and per operator
- Cycle time and speed variation per machine
- Automatic production entries, with no typing
- Projected finish time for each work order
How It Improves Performance
- Accurate output: counts match what the machine actually made.
- Less paperwork: supervisors stop re-entering data manually.
- Earlier warning: you see a slow-down within minutes, not at the end of the shift.
- Reliable costing: actual quantity per work order supports correct job costing.
Best For
High-volume discrete production: fasteners, stampings, forgings, bicycle and auto parts, moulded parts and packaging.
Call to Action
Replace paper tallies with live counts.
