In-line high-speed automated visual quality inspection powered by custom computer vision defect models.
The Problem
Manual inspection is slow, tiring and inconsistent. Inspectors miss defects at the end of a long shift, and sampling cannot catch every faulty part. Customers who receive a bad part do not accept sampling as an excuse.
The Hardware
An industrial camera with controlled lighting, mounted over a conveyor, a chute or an inspection table, connected to an edge computer running the inspection model. The model is trained on your parts and defect types, for example missing threads, burrs, cracks, surface marks or wrong dimensions, and it can also count parts.
The Dashboard Result
- Pass and fail result for each inspected part, with an image of every rejection
- Defect type breakdown and rate per batch, machine and shift
- Automatic QC entries and non-conformance records
- Alerts when the defect rate rises above a limit
How It Improves Performance
- More consistent quality: every part is checked the same way.
- Fewer customer complaints: defects are caught before dispatch.
- Lower inspection effort: people are freed for higher-value work.
- Faster feedback: a rising defect rate is flagged to the machine that causes it.
Best For
High-volume parts where visual defects matter: fasteners, auto components, castings, moulded parts and packaging.
Call to Action
Inspect every part, not just a sample.
